the chaos, and violence int he street and the heroes response that was begining to materialize was then being covered on tv.
In a bored up abandoned mental asylum Hyena had recently taken over, He sat in a big chair and watched on tv as the new covered the rioting prisoners shooting smashing and looting their way through the streets of metropolis
there was some actual hyenas in the room which he had stolen from a zoo a while back they curled up and sat near Hyena as he pet there heads.
"looky looky looks like Daddy made the news, and it looks like some people want to join in daddy's fun looks like I'm gonna have to up the ante hehehehe"

prisoners in the streets shooting into building shooting at cars.
one escapee ran screaming in pure terror clothes on fire hold a grenade in each hand running full sprint at Iron Lantern, and Wanda.
another shot an rpg at a in coming police cruiser destroying it.
the prisoners though insane are still freshly our of prison and totally uninhibited every single one of them that could see Wanda turned and tried to swarm her.

Lantern turned back to the oncoming swarm of rioting prisoners, activating the automatic plasma rifles in the arms of the armor. He fired on the prisoners, knocking them back. In order to keep them at bay, he created a construct of a very large brick wall.

Dark Claw arrived on the roof of hospital. Charging through the halls to where Spider-Boy was being kept, he pushed by the doctors and Super-Patriot and injected a syringe into Spider-Boy's IV drip. Soon Heyna's toxin would just be a bad memory.
He turned to one of the doctors and thrusted a formula into his hands, "This is the anti-toxin. Get working on it and get to administering it. And make an excess. This isn't done yet."

"Eventually he would have died, that's how Hyena's toxin always works," Dark Claw said grimly. He was going to wait until Spider-Boy was okay then he was taking both of them to take care of the mess Hyena was causing in Metropolis.

Peter slowly began calming down as the formula began coursing through his system. He began taking in deep breaths to help fill his lungs again and calm himself down so he'd actually be of some use in taking down the Hyena.

Though even as they slept the venom still effected them with the prisoners to a man suffering from terrible night terrors as the slept. |

As the day wore on and faded into the evening the heroes, and police battled back the armed. crazed prisoners.
elsewhere in the city, in a warehouse Hyena unleashed 2 Komatsu D355A bulldozers fitted with makeshift armor plating covering the cabin, engine and parts of the tracks. In places, the vehicle's armor was over one foot thick, consisting of concrete sandwiched between sheets of steel to make ad-hoc composite armor. This made the machines impervious to small arms fire and resistant to explosives. They were also had installed two rifles and launchers for venom canister in firing ports on the inside of the bulldozers. The bulldozers were also fitted with Venom spewing exhausts pipes. Hyena had them manned with his venom dosed henchmen (people in the asylum he took over and poisoned with his venom and made into slaves).
the 2 "killdozers" rampaged through the city separately, sporadically firing bullets into crowds of people fleeing in terror or at things the henchmen thought might explode if shot at. They smash through buildings seemingly at random plowing through the steelworks, blaze comics, kenmore bowling ally, but also making sure to wreck the 8th precinct police station, the court house and city hall.
The rampaging Killdozers continued their destructive blitz through metropolis one smashing and shooting its way through Queensland park and the other outer boroughs of the city while the second concentrated its rampage to the inner borough of new troy.

He prepared repulsors and his lantern for whatever the crazy bastard had coming. in new troy the killdozer clumsily and recklessly bashed its way through the upper scale neighborhoods and business/shopping districts of metropolis's inner borough making its way towards the Iron Lantern. the Rifles started firing at him. |

He aimed the cannon fire at the plating surrounding the engine, making a dent, but still having a way to go.

He aimed the cannon fire at the plating surrounding the engine, making a dent, but still having a way to go. the Killdozer didnt appear to be detered but the cannon fire and just kept barreling forward towards the Iron Lantern at its top speed. in Queensland park the other killdozer was smashing and bashing working its way towards the bridge to park ridge. |

When the armor was peeled back to reveal the crazed henchmen. they begin pelting him with venom canisters and gunfire. |

"Computer, activate air filter!" Hal commanded, the mask completely sealing up and filtering out any venom. He charged his repulsors and blasted the henchmen with both blasts, scattering them.

Dark Claw was ready this time, if Hyena wanted to mess with Metropolis, he needed to know exactly what he was getting in for.
Dark Claw threw a EMP grenade towards the Killdozer. It would easily fry all the circuitry of the killdozer and leave it open to one specific attack.
Dark Claw looked to the sky and saw the man he called. He hated to admit it, but he respected this man more than any other man he had encountered.
As the Killdozer tried to reboot, Super-Soldier suddenly plowed into it. Lifting it over his head and throwing it only to shield bash it's underbelly. "It's sort of fun when it's this easy to take down the villain isn't it?" he said speaking to Dark Claw's com link.
"Never got the concept of fun, bub. But putting the fear into Hyena... I can do that," the sound of Dark Claw's claws unsheathing could be heard.
