Lex had extended an invitation to Damien to have meeting.
Lex decided to have the meeting in his personal penthouse.
Lex wore his "johnny cash" outfit black pants untucked white dress shirt leather jacket. and waited for Damien
{rough start but it could go somewhere}

Damien had received the invitation from Luthor, he was more than pleased. He arrived in a red shirt and matching black pin striped vest and slacks, he had a red pocket handkerchief and a black tie. He was wearing a gold watch and the ring he had gotten from the league. He walked into the penthouse with his normal snobbish air.
"Luthor" he grinned and showed of his sharp canines, " AM Ihere to discuss a merger?"

"please take a seat. May I offer you a drink?" Lex added bidding Damien to sit down. |

"yes you are certainly no longer a whelp, and don't worry League matters are at present none of my concern. We have an accord thanks to my uncle. I stay out their way they stay out of mine. and we co exist happily." Lex said pouring sake for Damien and Scotch for himself. Lex sat and handed Damien his sake. "Now that we have thoroughly rehashed our shared pasts lets move on to new business. It has come to my attention that you and your father are at odds. and it would happen that so are he and I. though my animosity with him is rather pointless I would still see much benefit in you and I combining efforts." |

"though his being the dark claw presents other problems, so I can crush directly for my associate aspires to join the JLA and for me to join with him. So I am willing to work with you to make sure you achieve you stated goals. In fact once I'm sated I'll simply give you my 13+% stake in Logan inc. as a reward and a gift from me to you. Damien narrowed his eyes, "Do not patronize me" he drank his Sake, "And do research better the men you plan to assert you're will on, Logan's been alive for a good long while and has bowed to very few, and as for a percent of my father business, I don't want or need it, the addition of you thirteen will give me thirty" Damien grinned, "Assistance would be appreciated, but leave any actions to me, whet they be murderous or other wise, I want him to have nothing left, then I'm going to gut him, stuff him and have him mounted in my study" he drank a bit more Sake, "This is excellent"

Lex smiles faintly "yes that is thing it would seem game theory is at work as always "people do whats in their best interest"" Lex paused then added "But I wasn't referring to the League I was referring to you. I want you to work with me I need a hand in the darkness to do things I need done to accomplish my goals. The person I have hired to that end is dreadfully unreliable and incredibly disrespectful. I quickly tire of her willful disobedience and blatant disrespect. I figure you will do nicely as her replacement because I plan to rule this world but to get to that lofty goal certain things must be done things that are less than morally idea and things I can have my name attached to if I am to curry the favor of the people." Damien stood up and headed out of the office, "One more thing Frost, I usually take what I want, Now when It comes to Eve, She was just a little plaything at the auction, but If i get it in my mind to make her mine, All you'll be able to do is kill me, and I don't die as easy as most. But, I have plenty of my own toys, so don't fret" Damien walked out of the office.
