Character Name: Iron Lantern
Real Name: Harold "Hal" Stark
Team Affiliation: Justice League Avengers
BackStory: Harold Stark was the son of Martin and Maria Stark. As a young boy, Hal had always wanted to be a pilot, just like his father. His genius level intelligence allowed him to excel in school, where he graduated at the age of 14 and was accepted to California Polytechnical Institute. Upon completing college, he enlisted in the Air Force as an engineer, a field that came quite naturally to him. Upon his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he used the inheritance from his father to found Stark Aircraft.
Several years after founding Stark Aircraft, Hal was working on a new stationary flight simulator when it locked on to an alien spacecraft and took off with Stark still inside. The simulator crashed in the desert, one of the pieces of shrapnel piercing Hal in the chest. He crawled to the alien ship, where he found the alien Rhomann Sur dead. Since Hal was dying himself, he used the fashioned a suit of armor out of the various pieces of the ship and powered it with the lantern shaped battery that was in the ship with Sur. The suit not only kept Hal alive, but also gave him nearly limitless power. He now operates as the superhero Iron Lantern with the Justice League Avengers, while still maintaining his position at Stark Aircraft.
Powers and abilities: The battery that powers Hal's suit allows him to create constructs out of pure energy, fire energy blasts, translate any language, and even time travel.
Personality: Outside of the suit, Hal is very suave and business savvy, but has his moments where he can be cocky or a jokester. Inside the suit, he's very professional, much like when he's in the cockpit of a plane.
Appearance: Hal is normally seen either wearing a fine designer suit or for more casual get together, blue jeans, a t-shirt, and a bomber jacket. The armor he wears is primarily green and gold Iron Tech style armor.
